Component
One or more vertical metal cabinet parts with power bus and plug-in installation for individual motor controllers make up a motor control Centre. Smaller controllers can be removed from the cabinet for testing or maintenance while larger controllers can be fastened in place. In order to safeguard the motor from damage, each motor controller includes a contactor or a solid-state controller as well as overload relays, circuit breakers, fuses, and disconnect switches. Separate connections allow three-phase electricity to enter each controller. The controller’s terminals are connected to the motor’s wires. Field control and power lines can be routed to motor control centers.
